Thank you all for an amazing time in Nashville and Kentucky! The two concerts (I'm just now able to talk again!) Went great! My band from "26 Miles" sounded like we had been working together for years.
It did rain cats, dogs, cows and sheep at the Chicken Festival but the lines were long and I never heard a complaint. You folks are the best!
As a side note, I just got off the phone with the Red Cross and they said that the tri-state area is still talking about how amazing it was that people braved the rain! In fact... He told me that by their calculation, the Red Cross received more than 1/4 of a million dollars in press over the last week and a half! Yeee Haaa!
Lastly... Thanks to all of you who showed up for "Collier & Co" - Hot Pursuit! The movie was sold out and very well received. I can't make the 2nd movie until I've made my money back on the first one and with the response I saw last Saturday night I now believe that it's possible.
Thanks again for being the best, most supportive fans on the planet!

June 11th, 2009 - "WWJD? FILM WRAPS". Nasser Entertainment Group has produced a film based on one of the best-selling novels of all time, In His Steps: What Would Jesus Do? by Charles Sheldon. Over 40 Million copies have been sold making it the 2nd best-selling Christian book of all time, behind only the Bible itself. The film stars John Schneider, Adam Gregory and Maxine Bahns.
The film will feature an original song by Adam Gregory entitled, What Would Jesus Do?
What Would Jesus Do? Currently sells an average of 100,000 copies per year and is available in 26 languages around the world. Actor John Schneider (TV’s Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville, The Secret Life of the American Teenager; Cable’s NIP/TUCK, Lake Placid II; Movies COLLIER & CO. – HOT PURSUIT!, Sydney White, Exit to Eden; Broadway’s Grand Hotel, Chicago) won the BEST ACTOR award for his starring role in the motion picture THE GODS OF CIRCUMSTANCE.
The award was presented Friday, May 8, 2009 at the conclusion of the British Film Festival in Los Angeles, where the film premiered.
Circumstance’s Director Justin Golding compared Schneider to John Wayne, Henry Fonda, and James Stewart. “They’re not superheroes. They’re you and me,” said Golding. “And John has that. You put him in denims and a jacket and workman’s boots and you believe he can go build a house.”
According to Martin A. Grove in The Hollywood Reporter, “The role fits Schneider like a glove.”
The film garnered additional honors, as Cate Cohen won for Best Actress and Brian Krause won for Best Supporting Actor at the ceremony at the Custom Hotel in Los Angeles.
“The Gods of Circumstance” had its world premiere May 3 as the opening film for the British Film Festival in Los Angeles. The film was written by Michael Thacker.
